lyrics
Down to the shores of the - black river
That’s where the broken go to be delivered
From their pains, from their stains
From the heavy weight, of their wretched chains
The water’s cold in the - black river
A frozen hell that will make your soul shiver
The ripples swirl, like serpent curls
Hypnotic whispers, from a deadly world
SOLO
Death awaits in the - black River
He’s a taker, never a giver
So take me down, to the shores
To save the ones, that he abhors
Pull them from the waters
Free your sons and daughters
From the cold depths of the
Death that waits in the black river

Out of the wreckage brought upon by dual personal tragedies comes an outstanding album that is sorrowful and victorious. Once you listen to this a few times, it’s hard to want to listen to anything else for a while. This is my front runner for metal album of 2021, and perhaps even my overall AOTY. Metal Marc

this album absolutely rips. this is what I would call epic thrash. it has that old school sound but sounds very fresh at the same time. definitely worth supporting, I had to buy the CD for my collection, I couldn't not. I don't even care if it's quote "Christian metal", the music is so damn good. maybe, GOD damn good. I hope these guys keep making heavy ass metal 🤘🏻 big_pete666

Eric Wagner to me is a poet and a storyteller, his lyrics are thoughtful and profound and to take a quote about Chris Cornell “Nobody sings like him anymore”. He should never have died it was avoidable. Ask his bass player Ron Holzner? Too many rockers live recklessly and it has consequences for not just them and those in their families and friends but in the world wide family of rock and rollers. Live Long and Prosper Eric run to the light. rladkins140
